Jeg er så glad jeg ikke trenger å lære tysk i stedet! 😆🤣 Ich tuE = Jeg gjør Du tuST = Du gjør Sie tuT = Hun gjør Wir tuEN = Vi gjør Ihr tuT = Dere gjør Sie tuEN = De gjør; ...og det er ikke engang den vanskelige delen...🥵 Naturlige språk har ganske enkelt utviklet seg historisk og er derfor helt dumme! 💩

Hi Michelle, thanks for the lesson. You’re the first teacher who mentions the ’dirty’ interpretation of ’jeg er glad i deg’, lol. The first time I heard that expression, I thought the Scandinavians were a pretty expressive bunch in that department (rumpetroll didn’t help either 😂). You said we could ask questions, so here goes : is there a difference in pronunciation between norsk u and y ? To me u sounds like French u sound, for y I hesitate between i or u sound. Thanks again, har det bra !

@MichelleAlexandra. Nearly a decade after finding your videos, practicing, using apps Duolingo and Drops, reading books, I'm finally in Oslo. And I cant do it, I think I'd insult people by trying to speak Norsk with them! But yay, I'm here and its beautiful. 😊

Hey Michelle, thank you for these videos. I see it was 6 years ago that you did these and so I don't guess you plan on doing more. I wish you would. There aren't a lot of good Norwegian teachers out there. Most just seem to toss out phrases rather than going over pronunciation and grammar. Anyways, I do wish you'd do more. Thanks again.

This was refreshing. I have been stumbling with the mechanics of adjectives. I know they must compliment the noun and the form of the noun (def/indef/plural/sing) but I can’t ever remember how the correct modification to the adjective. I’m now closer to understanding:)

i dont get the 'g' pronounciations and the random 'h's you mentioned. when writing, is there a rule to how it works? like in english with the magic 'e' rule. or do we just kinda have to memorize it? like vocabulary, or how in german things are male, female or, neuter, and we just have to kinda memorize it.. edit: also are 't's silent

You said " hi norwegian my students" "hæ norske elevene mine" I'm just learning norsk. I'm English, I might be wrong but shouldn't it be: "Hi, my norwegian students". "Hæ mine norske studenter". Or am I wrong, I most definitely am wrong but I thought I'd ask because any exposure to norwegian language i am greatfull for. Jeg elsker deg 🇳🇴 from UK

This helps a lot. I’ve been using Duolingo, and they don’t have explanation sections like they fo in the Spanish course. I was having trouble with adjectives, but now it makes sense. Since I have the concept of conjugating verbs in Spanish, it makes it easier to grasp the concept of conjugating adjectives (whether or not it’s the right term) in Norwegian.
